Overzicht Noord-Afrika

General summary.
----------------------
For weeks I have been busy mapping the Phoenician and Punic settlements on the coast of North Africa. There could be about 66 harbours on the North-African coast from Thabraca to Valonae, that could have been used by the Phoenicians and Punic people. That is an incredible amount of 66 places on a coast that is c.1500 km long (as the crow flow). That means that on every c.25 kilometers there could have been a harbour at their disposal. If we look at the harbours that were with certainty there, this figure would be on every c.40 kilometers. From 42 harbours we are certain. From 24 possible harbours we are not.  Those harbours lie on the coast between Emsa and Mellila and on the Dahra coast. We know 34 Greek or Latin names of the harbours and know 23 Phoenician or Punic names. We also know some personal names: Wartagars, Masop, Ariš, gns, gsm, zbygys/š, ygyšwm, mgwṢ, Derku Adonibaal, Himilk and Matanbaal. Some of them are libyco-berber.
