Sa Caleta

Sa Caleta was the first Phoenician settlement on Ibiza. It is situated south of the town Ibiza (=Ebusos). Founded in c.700 BC. It was abandoned already in 654 BC, when the Carthaginians made a colony in Ebusos (-Ibiza-town).
